Heil Trailer International was founded in 1901 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA. It is the worlds largest aluminium, petroleum and dry bulk tank trailer manufacturer doing business and having agreements with many of the worls major and regional oil companies in over 85 countries.
Heil Trailer International is owned by Dover, a multibillion dollar, NYSE - traded, corporation of more than 50 independent and diversified manufacturers of a variety of proprietary products and components for industrial and commercial use.
Heil has over 500 tankers in Australia manufactured at its state of the art 12,500 sgm, five hectare facility in thailand which operates under the banner of Heil Asia Ltd. In 2009 Heil Australia Pty Ltd Was formed and now controls the design, manufacture and delivery of tankers for the Australian market.
