Concrete solution

Building on the Gough Group’s extensive experience in the concrete and infrastructure industries in New Zealand, Gough Industrial Solutions Australia has partnered with Sany, one of the biggest global suppliers of concrete pumps and agitators. Thanks to this partnership, a range of exciting new products have just hit Australian shores.

As a privately owned New Zealand business, the Gough Group draws on a rich heritage that extends for more than 80 years. Together with its global supply partners and longstanding customer relationships, the brand has strived to build a reputation based on quality, innovation and integrity.

The Gough Group is highly diverse, made up of five trading subsidiaries, incorporating ten distinct businesses. The brand offers a range of value-added solutions to the infrastructure, mining, forestry, transport and power system industries in Australia and New Zealand.

“We have some very strong brands of our own, and we represent other key brands within different product categories including premium global brands such as Sany, Simem, Caterpillar, Hyster, SAF, WABCO and Palfinger in New Zealand and Australia,” says Horst Hendrich, National Key Account Manager at Gough Industrial Solutions.

Utilising its national Australian branch network, Gough Industrial Solutions has committed to building on its partnership with Sany to deliver integrated concrete mixers, pumping solutions, vertical and horizontal cement silos, concrete batching plants and related solutions locally. This is complemented by lifecycle service, support and parts back-up.

Sany is a Chinese multinational heavy machinery manufacturing company. Its purchase of German company, Putzmeister in 2012, has led to the integration of both brands’ technology, integrating German quality standards into Sany’s robust equipment design.

The Sany range offered by Gough Industrial Solutions includes truck-mounted concrete pumps, stationary pumps, line pumps and placing booms.

For smooth pumping and a safe operation, Sany’s truck-mounted concrete pumps adopt eight core technologies: one button stabilisation, boom anti-vibration, energy saving, anti-overswing, fault self-diagnosis, safety, smart boom system and highly wear resistant parts. Sany’s smaller truck mounted 4-stage boom pumps range from 21, 23, 25 and 30-metre booms, all with 120 cubic metre per hour modules. The larger 5-stage equipment range is 38, 43, 47 and 49 metre booms, with a single toggle switch for high/low pressure pumping change and 170 cubic metre per hour capacity. Sany also has 6 stage 53, 56 and 62 metre booms available, all with single toggle switch high/low pressure pumping.

Gough Industrial Solutions will be working with NHVR and local authorities to see these units on our Australian roads in the very near future. These boom pumps are available in various configurations including Z, ZZ and RZ.

Sany’s stationary pumps are available in electric, diesel and ultra-high-pressure configurations. A perfect match for the harsh Australian environment, they have been designed to stand up to the toughest operating conditions, effectively operating at -22°C in Moscow and 55°C in Dubai. They are capable of 12 hours of continuous pumping and pumping of difficult concrete like B90, C150 and 3-gradation concrete.

For busy, congested construction sites, Sany’s concrete line pumps are a perfect fit. They are designed to deliver excellent pump service life, lower maintenance costs and fuel consumption, pump efficiency and intelligent control; at a lower price-point than large concrete pump trucks.

Along with the Sany range of concrete pumps and booms, Dynamix concrete mixer trucks by Gough Industrial Solutions are another part of the offering, with options suitable for various sizes of operation, up to 8.0 cubic metres. They offer high loading speeds and mixing action, enhanced curb discharge and higher discharge rates, a low weight to improve mixer capacity, an oil tank reservoir with electric cooling fan, and a mixing bowl that is designed to improve mixing and delivery of low slump concrete. For increased safety, the range of Dynamix concrete mixer trucks feature the latest Danfoss computerised control systems and hydraulics, as well as an optional wireless remote.

Focussing on its commitment to innovative technology and a dedication to health and safety, Gough Industrial Solutions offers its customers a range of infrastructural solutions that harness the competence of the global brands it represents.

The Gough Group has a network of over 50 locations in both Australia and New Zealand; and Gough Industrial Solutions operates from facilities in Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch, and has a field service and maintenance division.
