Amcor invests in fleet flexibility with latest Drake drop deck

Queensland-based earthmoving and bulk haulage operator, Amcor Excavations, has taken delivery of a 3x4 Lowboy from The Drake Group.

Amcor acquired its latest trailer from Drake to ensure its fleet can be utilised for a range of freight tasks, big and small.

According to the manufacturer, the 45-foot Drake drop deck Lowboy is ideal for managing various types of different loads at a moment’s notice on a long-term basis.

“The Lowboy we made for Amcor was built with road train duties in mind and fitted with BPW air suspension and axle combo,” Drake said in a statement.

“This is to aid in load stability, which is all-important on long trips.

“We know the new Lowboy will fit right in with Amcor’s other low loaders that have also been set up for road train work they have in their fleet.”

Amcor specialises in drill site preparation, drill site rehabilitation, road building and maintenance, gas pipeline tie-ins, pond rehabilitation, fluid haulage, crushing and screening and potable water deliveries.
