BRE reveals bulk trailer delivery

  • Posted on Friday 6th, October 2017.

Western Australia-based trailer manufacturer, Bruce Rock Engineering (BRE) has delivered 11 Wabash Artic Lite trailers and 10 dry vans to fulfill a customer's five-year grocery contract.

According to BRE Managing Director, Damion Verhoogt, the newly delivered Wabash fleet was placed into service alongside the company’s existing trailers to evaluate the operational and cost efficiencies.

"The Wabash trailers are not only more than one tonne lighter than their Australian counterparts, but proved to be up to 30 per cent more efficient in their refrigeration unit's fuel consumption saving an estimated $3,000 in fuel costs per year," said Verhoogt.
