Bundaberg Regional Council adds new AZMEB tipper to fleet

  • Posted on Friday 1st, August 2014.

The Bundaberg Regional Council of Queensland has put into service a new 85m³ tri-axle High Volume Side Tipper (HVST) by Azmeb.

According to the Council, the Azmeb HVST will be used as part of its waste transfer division. The key to our operation is to maximise each trip by delivering as much waste as possible, which is why we need equipment that can hold up to 20-tonnes per load,” said Gavin Crawford, Manager of Waste & Health, Bundaberg Regional Council.

“Not only can it achieve up to 21-tonnes of load, but we can also top load it using excavators, which could not be done in our older compactor trailer.”

The Azmeb HVST features on-board weighing technology and an in-cab remote-control system. In addition, the unit is also fitted with the latest BPW disc brakes and airbag suspension, together with a multivolt EBS unit.
