To deliver bottled gas supply in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Darwin for BOC, Linfox has implemented a series of customised B-double tautliner trailers.
“Specially customised B-double tautliner trailers are being designed for BOC’s gas cylinder testing centre at Wetherill Park in Sydney,” said Linfox’s National Manager Gas, Albert Davidson.
“The B-double will operate a loop through major east coast centres to ensure regular deliveries and cylinder checking while maximising vehicle utilisation.”
According to Mr Davidson, the partnership between the two companies focuses on continuous improvement and the highest levels of safety.
The new trailers will be able to double stack cylinder pallets to feed BOC’s rigorous checking and repair regime. Their design also ensures that the cylinders are protected from the elements.
