Frankling Truck & Silo invests in Lusty EMS

Grain haulage business, Frankling Truck & Silo, has recently taken delivery of a Lusty EMS Lead Slider and Tip Over Axle road train combination to supplement its freight tasks between Victoria and New South Wales.

Frankling Truck & Silo Owner-Driver, Darren Frankling, has said that he has a greater appreciation for using high productivity equipment, investing in his first set of lusty EMS trailers in 2010.

“We needed safer and more productive road train options for harvest season,” said Frankling. “The latest Lusty EMS combination features disc brakes, compared to older style brakes featured in other units within the fleet. The disc brakes give us a longer service life, but most importantly, greater safety for our drivers.

“The trailers are also exceptionally easy to work with. Lusty EMS has really considered the operator in the design of the trailers,” he said.

Frankling Truck & Silo Transport Manager, Evan Whitbourne, has confirmed significant performance gains with the new gear. “The new Lusty EMS road train combination has been in service for over two months now and saves 500kg in tare weight from efficiencies throughout the entire combination. That’s half a tonne of additional payload,” he said.
