Waste management company, MacDonald Johnston, has announced that it will be trading under the name of Bucher Municipal as of October this year.
“From the 1st October, 2014 our company name will become Bucher Municipal Pty Ltd and we will be known as Bucher Municipal,” said Managing Director, David Waldron.
“The re-branding to Bucher Municipal is a significant step forward for MacDonald Johnston in recognition of our expanding regional role within the wider Bucher Group.
“The business we have built over the last 60 years is of great importance to us and in turn, although our name will change, we remain the same company with the same people, values and commitment that we have always had. We will continue to design and manufacture our world class machines from our two Australian factories and distribute our products and after-sales services from our retail branches located in all five major capital cities.”
The rebranding comes 10 years after Johnston Sweepers Limited (MacDonald Johnston) was acquired by Swiss stock exchange listed, Bucher Industries.
