Maxilift Australia to promote Unic crane at ITTES

  • Posted on Tuesday 1st, April 2014.

At this week's International Truck Trailer & Equipment Show, Maxilift Australia will promote the addition of the Unic crane brand to the company’s portfolio.

The new range was developed by Japanese truck-mounted crane expert, Furukawa-Unic. The first model to come to Australia this year is the Unic RED 2014, featuring an in-built moment limiter, which will automatically reset to match the vehicles actual stability if the outriggers are only partially extended or even not extended at all.

“With Maxilift Cranes, our established Tommygate range and now Unic, we are all set for a fantastic ITTES 2014,” said Maxilift’s Bob Davis, revealing the new models have been built to new Australian Standards requirements.

According to Maxilift Australia, the operator can work to maximum possible capacity for multiple outrigger setting ensuring safety and convenience in situations such as heavy traffic. The Unic RED can also provide information on both load weight and relative crane capacity via a radio remote hand piece.
