MaxiTRANS reveals charity initiative

  • Posted on Thursday 7th, September 2017.

Trailer manufacturer, MaxiTRANS, has announced a new charity initiative to donate a percentage of sales made on 14 September to suicide prevention charity, R U OK.

According to MaxiTRANS, R U OK is a charity dedicated to reminding people that to ask, “are you okay?” and help those struggling with life.

"To show our support, MaxiTRANS will donate one per cent of the purchase price from all parts purchased, and new trailers or truck bodies ordered, on R U OK? Day, 14 September 2017," MaxiTRANS said.

"Concerned about someone you know or care about? Start the conversation today and ask, “are you okay?” You could help that family member, friend or workmate to open up. If they tell you that they are not OK you can follow the R U OK? conversation steps to show them that they’re supported and help them to find strategies to better manage the load."
