  • Posted on Wednesday 9th, August 2017.

Truck body and trailer hardware supplier, McNaughtans, has signed on as an exhibitor for new multi-modal supply chain industry event, MEGATRANS2018.

General Manager, Peter Laudenberg, said McNaughtans is well known for manufacturing and distributing all manner of truck, trailer and bus accessories and components, including an array of LED lighting and auto electrical products.

Its manufacturing and sourcing capabilities make the company “hard to beat” in the road transport component aftermarket, providing all components required from line haul transport vehicles to urban deliveries.

“To meet the current needs in Australia’s constantly changing and improving commercial road transport market, McNaughtans attends every major transport event across the globe,” said Laudenberg.

“Among others, that includes Automechanika in Frankfurt as well as the IAA Commercial Vehicles Show in Hanover.”  Now, MEGATRANS2018 can be added to that list.

Attending these trade shows means the purchasing team at McNaughtans has a product base that is up to date and relevant.

“Our experienced management team has a keen eye for spotting up-and-coming trends in the transport industry and has had years of experience in sourcing competitively priced products to add to the catalogue,” said Laudenberg.

One of the products that McNaughtans recently had great success with is Decopan Fibre-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) sheets and stocks a range of products in its branches located in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne Laverton, Melbourne Dandenong and Perth.

“Available for our transport manufacturing market, our Decopan FRP has excellent surface quality, is lightweight, flexible for workability, has a high impact resistance and can be used on various roofing, walls and flooring transport applications,” said Laudenberg.
