PBEF wins finance award

  • Posted on Friday 6th, September 2019.

The Commercial & Asset Finance Brokers Association of Australia (CAFBA) has named Michael Basile of Phillips Basile Equipment Finance (PBEF) as ‘Broker of the Year’.

Michael Basile was humbled to be recognised at the CAFBA 2019 National Broker and Financier awards held last month.

“Thank you to CAFBA, the judges and congratulations to the other nominees,” Basile said in a statement.

“More so, a huge thank you to my loyal clients, banking, supplier and referral partners, my partner Chris Phillips and the incredibly dedicated team of staff we have at Phillips Basile Equipment Finance.

“I want to particularly thank those who were there to support Chris and I since day one when we needed you behind us. You know who you are and that will not be forgotten by us.

“When Chris Phillips and I started the business in 2016, our mission was for PBEF to provide a level of support to business owners which was unrivalled in the equipment finance industry. To us, this award is a recognition that we are on the right track in achieving this mission,” he said.

CAFBA represents commercial and asset finance brokers in Australia. Established in 2008, following the amalgamation of two industry associations, CAFBA is reported to work on behalf of its members to proactively collaborate with government and regulatory bodies on legislative issues that affect access to business finance for member clients and the wider business community.

Trailer Magazine spoke to PBEF last year to learn more about the services it provides trailer manufacturer, Vawdrey Australia.
