Redarc celebrates 20th anniversary

  • Posted on Monday 7th, August 2017.

In September this year, award-winning advanced equipment manufacturer, Redarc Electronics, will reach its 20 year anniversary of business with Managing Director, Anthony Kittel, at the helm.

The Kittel family purchased SA-based manufacturer in 1997 following the death of electronics engineer, Robin (Bob) William Mackie, who founded the business in 1979.

The company has grown from operating in a tin shed in Lonsdale, South Australia with only eight employees to now operating in a state of the art advanced manufacturing facility that employs 160 people.

Redarc has been recognised for a number of awards including Manufacturer of the Year at the 2017 Endeavour awards, and Telstra Business of the Year in 2014.

“Being a technology focused manufacturer, Redarc’s entire business model is based upon innovation. We choose to put technological development into everything we do and invest 15 per cent of annual revenue into R&D," said Kittel.
