Schmitz Cargobull Australia has appointed family-owned company, Brown & Hurley, as its dealer in northern New South Wales and Queensland to reinforce the distribution and support of its specialised refrigerated trailers.

Both Schmitz Cargobull Australia and Brown & Hurley share a passion for providing dedicated customer service and quality road transport equipment.

Schmitz Cargobull Australia’s Managing Director, Balint Kolnhofer explains: “The dealership agreement with Brown & Hurley is another major commitment to the Australian Refrigerated Transport Industry".

Following the recent Grand Opening of Schmitz Cargobull’s new assembly facility in Noble Park Victoria, the dealership agreement will further strengthen sales and after-sales support with Brown & Hurley’s dealerships located from Coffs Harbour NSW to Townsville QLD.

Brown & Hurley have an impressive dealership group with world class products, state of the art facilities and the professionalism required to distribute the latest refrigerated trailer technology from Europe’s leading trailer manufacturer.

“The Australian reefer market demands skilled, dedicated customer service coupled with a reliable after-sales service and repair network to ensure minimal downtime and optimal profitability for operators." said Dylan Hurley, Brown & Hurley Manager – Trailer Division.

Brown & Hurley’s dedicated trailer sales division has been operating since 1992. Headed up by Dylan Hurley, the trailer sales team has recently welcomed Trevor Cox as Account Manager – Schmitz Cargobull to work closely with fleet operators as a specialist in refrigerated trailer sales.

The new year will see the Brown & Hurley Group dealerships stocked with Schmitz Cargobull’s S.KO fully imported short chassis reefer and the locally assembled full chassis B-double refrigerated semi-trailer range.

“Schmitz Cargobull’s Ferroplast technology offers premium thermal efficiencies so it’s exciting to see these benefits being delivered into some of Australia’s hottest territories where massive fuel savings can really improve the operators bottom line," said Dylan Hurley.

Schmitz Cargobull Australia held a grand opening ceremony at its head office in Noble Park North, Victoria, in October.
