Third-party logistics company, Linfox, has welcomed Mick Cronin as the new President Retail for Australia and New Zealand.

Cronin reportedly comes to Linfox from NSW Ports where he was the General Manager Strategy and Commercial, experienced in supply chain, logistics, operations and procurement and has worked within a number of large Australian and global companies.

“I welcome Mick to this role and look forward to working with him and our Retail customers to bring new service offerings,” said Linfox CEO ANZ, Mark Mazurek. “In the past 12 months, Linfox has renewed its leadership team and we will continue to do this as the industry develops to ensure that we meet the needs of our customers.”

According to Linfox, Cronin has been selected from a strong field of candidates and will join the Linfox Logistics ANZ Executive Leadership Team (ELT). There will be a handover period between Cronin and outgoing President Retail, Terry Quinnell.

Terry Quinnell will be stepping back from the role of President Retail to take on a part-time role focused on delivering a number of critical growth projects for Linfox and will remain on the Linfox ELT.

“Terry has been a part of Linfox for more than two decades,” said Mazurek.

“I’ve personally appreciated Terry’s approach. Since taking on the role of President Retail, he has made a significant contribution to the business and I look forward to working with him in his new role.”
