Treasury Wine Estates opens facility in SA

  • Posted on Tuesday 18th, December 2018.

Winemaking company, Treasury Wine Estates (TWE), has opened its new expanded warehouse and distribution facility at Penfield, South Australia.

The company welcomed Federal Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, Simon Birmingham, to officially open the facility. He was joined by the South Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, David Ridgway.

The expanded operations demonstrates the company’s commitment to the South Australian wine industry, according to TWE.

The project is a joint effort between TWE, Toll Group and SCT Logistics.

According to Toll, once the facility is fully operational it will deliver greater efficiency in TWE’s container packing operations and domestic distribution functions, and help accommodate the increasing global demand for TWE’s premium wine exports to more than 70 countries worldwide.
