  • Posted on Wednesday 11th, April 2018.

Viva Energy Australia Logistics Manager, Kersten Ross, is joining the Victorian Transport Association’s (VTA) Annual Women’s Lunch line-Up

Ross has worked with Shell and Viva Energy Australia since 2002 in a variety of logistics and customer-facing roles. She has held her current role as Logistics Manager since 2012, and has been a “terrific” supporter of the VTA and the industry’s efforts to increase participation rates of women in transport.

Kersten will deliver a short address to attendees of the lunch, and facilitate a panel discussion with other confirmed guest speakers Jacquelene Brotherton and Fiona Patten, MP.

The panel features phenomenal advocates for women in transport.

Jacquelene Brotherton joined the transport industry in 1970. She has worked for several major transport companies with 20 years in livestock transport and roles in fleet management, general and refrigerated transport operations. She has been the Transport Manager for Oxford Cold Storage since 2007, and is a member of the Western Transport Alliance, Livestock Transporters Association of Victoria, NatRoad, Women in Trucking (US) and Women in the Cold Chain (US).

The VTA continues to accept registrations for the Annual Women’s Lunch, to be held on Friday, 20 April at Fenix River Terrace in Richmond.
