Women in Industry finalists announced

  • Posted on Sunday 28th, May 2017.

Finalists for the Women in Industry Awards 2017 have been announced, with event organisers pleased with the number of nominations put forward.

“The number of both nominations and finalists has grown over the Awards last year, which is proof of the increasing calibre of women making an impact in their industry,” said Awards Facilitator, Lauren Winterbottom.

"These Awards recognise the achievements of women working within the road transport, mining, engineering and manufacturing industries, and aims to raise the profile of women within industry, as well as promote and encourage excellence."

The awards will feature the Excellence in Road Transport Award, which is sponsored by road transport member organisation, NatRoad.

"This category recognises an individual who has gone above and beyond to improve and positively impact the Australian road transport industry," Winterbottom added.

The full list of finalists is available online and tickets are available now.

The 2017 Women in Industry Awards will be held Thursday, 22 June 2017 at the Peninsula, Central Pier Shed C in Docklands, Melbourne.
