Planning is underway for the Victorian Transport Association’s (VTA) 2025 State Conference which will revolve around addressing productivity challenges within the country’s transport industry while also emphasising road safety.
Delivered in partnership with event sponsor TWUSUPER, the conference will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain insight into the latest conversations, connect with industry leaders and learn about new developments within the commercial transport sector.
VTA CEO, Peter Anderson, commented on the conference’s role in solving real and pressing issues within the industry.
“Australia’s transport industry is the lynchpin of our national economy, moving goods efficiently across the country and keeping supply chains intact,” he said.
“However, we face increasing productivity challenges that threaten sustainability, profitability and our ability to meet the demands of a growing economy.

Many of the conference’s discussions will specifically explore striking a balance between adhering to industry-wide safety regulations and implementing them in a way that does not harm operational efficiency.
