Visitors to the Brisbane Truck Show (BTS) this year will be pleased to discover a unified display with the PACCAR Australia trifecta of Kenworth, DAF, PACCAR support services, including PACCAR Parts, all under the one umbrella.
“This year we’ve taken a far more integrated approach where KW, DAF and PACCAR Parts are integrated together as a united front,” says Anthony Kwan, Marketing Services & Business Development Manager at PACCAR Parts.
“Importantly, Anthony continues, “this year our parts and accessories offerings will not be in cabinets, rather they will be on full display installed on a selection of trucks so visitors can see the products in situ.”
Anthony explains that the merchandise shop will not only feature a new KW range, but also introduce the brand-new DAF range freshly imported from Europe.
The high-quality Kenworth and DAF merchandise ranges include apparel such as jackets and polo tops, along with caps, bags, mugs and other goodies. Sizes are available to suit men, women and children.
Privileges Plus member discounts on official KW and DAF genuine merchandise will also be available at the BTS, with visitors able to sign up at one of a selection of touchscreen kiosks near the PACCAR coffee station.
The instant registration sign-up process is straightforward and provides new members with easy-to-remember five-digit loyalty numbers. Once registered, members are entitled to exclusive discounts on the merchandise stand at the show and in regular catalogues.
“Our loyalty program Privileges Plus is an instant registration so people can sign up and then go straight to the merchandise stand and receive exclusive BTS discounts of up to 20 per cent on genuine DAF and Kenworth gear,” Anthony says. “Visitors can sign up either using our touch screen kiosks or by scanning the QR code on their own mobile devices.”
Also on display via the interactive kiosks is a range guide for TRP – PACCAR Parts’ in-house aftermarket parts brand that caters for all makes of trucks and trailers.
According to PACCAR, the TRP range undergoes rigorous testing to ensure quality, durability and compliance that meets or exceeds industry standards. The range is backed by a minimum 12-month warranty.
Speaking about the TRP range and trailer parts in general, Anthony says PACCAR parts has significantly grown its range in synch with the rapidly expanding trailer market in Australia, particularly given the growing trailer sales and service presence among the PACCAR dealer network.
“We supply trailer parts not just through our quality TRP range, but also from leading trailer component manufacturers including BPW, York, Hendrickson, SAF-Holland, Narva and JOST,” says Anthony.
“The other big trailer news for PACCAR Parts at BTS is that we will be launching Volume One of our brand-new four-volume Trailer Catalogue, which can be viewed on our interactive kiosk at the stand.”
Anthony explains that the comprehensive catalogue has been a big undertaking for PACCAR Parts and that volumes two, three and four will be successively introduced over the 2021-2022 period. He says volume one alone is over 400 pages long and will be hot-off-the-press just in time for BTS.
“The great thing about this catalogue is that anyone who has a fleet of trailers or who services trailers can register to receive this trailer range guide and one of our dealerships’ branches closest to them will be in contact to deliver it,” he says. “We are looking to also have volume two out by the end of 2021.”
PACCAR Parts will be located within the PACCAR Australia display – Stand 40 in the Foyer Pavilion – along with Kenworth and DAF trucks.
The 2021 Brisbane Truck Show will be held from Thursday 13 May to Sunday 16 May. Opening hours will be 10am to 6pm on the first three days and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday.
The PACCAR Australia display at the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show will for the first time include up to 20 per cent off merchandise for Privileges members. Sign up at the stand.
