Founded in 1978, Gilders Transport and Logistics has developed into a premium service provider offering complete transport, distribution and warehousing services (palletised freight) nationally. It also manages specialised logistics including time-sensitive freight, project logistics and oversized consignments.
The family business began as a single truck operation in Kurnell, New South Wales, and today services customers nationally across a range of industries.

Key to this competitive edge is investing in the best quality trailing equipment. The first trailer from Vawdrey Australia to join Gilders’ fleet was in 2004.

The most recent trailer deliveries include two 34-pallet B-double trailers that were custom built to specification for length to fit a new Kenworth T909.
“The new purchase was required for company growth, new contracts as well as our ongoing commitment to modernising our fleet.”
These B-double trailers feature stainless stripped guards, chrome rims, custom LED lighting, BPW axles, load restraint curtains and chrome hardware.
“With the reliability and quality of the spec that Vawdrey offers, Vawdrey trailers were built for versatility,” Brad says. “These trailers will travel across four major cities, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide and anywhere else that is required.”

The new 34-pallet trailers also feature onboard weight scales which help to reduce load time by enabling greater efficiencies and accurate maximisation.
