B-double numbers continue to boom

The fastest-growing segment of trucks in Australia is the B-double prime mover with a rated GCM of over 60 tonnes, according to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

The number of trucks with a GCM of over 60 tonnes registered in Australia has increased 49.3% in the past five years.
