Border Express has announced the opening of a brand-new depot in Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
The new facility is co-located with CouriersPlease, creating a strong logistics hub and opportunities for collaboration and shared efficiencies.
It features two warehouses, each having a 3,493-square-metre and 2,127-square-metre footprint, for short-term lease as business needs expand.
Border Express said the new Sunshine Coast facility strengthens the business’ footprint while delivering benefits to customers.
“By investing in a local depot, we’re ensuring our customers have access to faster, more reliable service, while providing our team with a modern workplace designed for efficiency and connection,” the company said.
“This move strengthens our footprint in Queensland and reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers.”
The depot’s prime position supports efficient freight movement to and from the region, helping Border Express continue to deliver on its promise of dependable, on-time service.
Situated just off the Bruce Highway, it offers easy access to key transport routes across Queensland and beyond.
“The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, with new suburbs emerging on the southern end of the coast,” Border Express said.
“Establishing a company-owned depot in this area allows us to better serve our customers, improve delivery times, and support the region’s continued expansion.”
