Braking specialist Knorr-Bremse Australia has lauded ‘The long experience at Mount Cotton’ as a major success. The live demonstration and workshop session was held in conjunction with the 2013 Brisbane Truck Show in May.
According to the company, the session focused mainly on educating the transport industry on the benefits of modern Trailer Electronic Braking Systems (TEBS).
“It’s important to let the transport community know that we’re not just a parts business, but a company capable of making the industry safer and more efficient. TEBS can not only manage brake systems, but also offer additional benefits such as roll stability control to maximise safety and cost operational performance,” said Kevin Gibson, National Sales and Engineering Manager OE CVS at Knorr-Bremse.
More than 30 key representatives from Australia’s transport fraternity were on hand at the event that was staged at Mount Cotton Driver training centre in Brisbane – home to one of Australia’s best large vehicle manoeuvre areas and road circuit.
