Ballarat-based Brimarco has delivered a mobile library to the Richmond Valley Council, a regional municipality south of the NSW/QLD border.
The mobile library, transported by a 7.8-litre Isuzu FVL 1400, will bring books, Internet access and other council resources to the combined 32,000 constituents that live in Richmond Valley Council and neighbouring Kyogle.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the effort of our team in delivering this first significant order under new ownership to the Richmond Valley Council,” said Brimarco Owner and Managing Director, Matt Kirwan-Hamilton.
Richmond Valley Council Finance and Procurement Manager, Ryan Gaiter, said Council was pleased with Brimarco’s ability to help them manage costs, and to deliver the library on time and on budget.
“Matt and the Brimarco team have impressed us with their efforts to help us find cost-savings throughout the project, without sacrificing the high standards and quality of the library. This was an important consideration for Council as we are always looking to get the best possible value for rate-payers,” said Gaiter.
“I’m sure people right throughout the Richmond Valley and Kyogle municipalities will enjoy and appreciate the many features of our state-of-the-art new mobile library.”
