Brown & Watson , the name behind the Narva range of lighting products and Projecta battery accessories, has moved 500m from its previous facility – consolidating three extensive buildings under the one roof, with a building of almost 20,000 square metres.
The new fully automatic and paperless warehouse covers almost 14,000 square metres with high racking of over nine metres, providing an initial capacity for approximately 14,000 SKUs, with this likely to double as the company expands in the future.
The building also features a modern administration area and one of Australia’s most advanced optometric automatic lighting labs, the company’s research and development centre, an electronics lab and advanced wiring loom manufacturing, as well as a fully equipped National Training Centre for company personnel, wholesale customers, retailers and major Narva and Projecta users.
Brown Watson Mangaing Director, Steve Waterham said, “The new facilities reflect our commitment to market leadership with the highest quality products and service levels heading into the future.”
He continued, “At the same time we have endeavored to provide a stimulating working environment our staff can be proud of.”
