In a strategic move to broaden the brand’s footstep across the country, Cameron Hoy has been appointed National Commercial Transport Manager for Hella Australia.
Cameron can draw on more than a decade of experience with Hella’s Victorian sales team, servicing a diverse market including mining, marine, thermal, filtration, automotive and transport.
“My previous role has given me all the tools I need to take on this new challenge,” Hoy told Trailer Magazine. “It’s been an invaluable experience representing the renowned Hella brand in Victoria, and I am excited to bring it to the next level.”
Hoy’s main focus will be on exploring the Australian SOE and fleet business and formalising the introduction of new products, while also collating feedback for further opportunities that may assist Hella grow on national basis.
Competing in a highly contested business environment, Hoy will also be able to access products from Hella’s global group of companies, “providing valuable solutions and added value for our SOE customers.”
According to Hella Australia, Hoy will be liaising with the company’s sales team nationally and spearheading a transparent approach to the commercial road transport industry. “Hella's core vision is to always be the preferred supplier of lighting and electrical in our industry. And with a 50-year history in Australia and continued support of locally manufactured LED products from Hella New Zealand and Hella Australia to back us, we are well prepared to follow our personalised customer service strategy on a national level.”
Hoy added that Hella will be rolling out “an exciting new product range” over the coming months – including new generation of LED signal lamps, LED beacons and electronic solutions for lamp fault detection. “The transport market has been anticipating this type of product from Hella and we'll keep our promise by delivering premium technology without compromise.
“I look forward to working more closely with our Hella customers and with my new appointment I know we can achieve this collaboratively.”
