Terminal tractor expert Daysworth International has announced an expanded product line-up for the upcoming International Truck Trailer & Equipment Show (ITTES), which will be headlined by a new multi-purpose low loader trailer, along with its terminal tractor range.
According to Managing Director, Ivan Vodanovich, the multi-purpose trailer is well suited for heavy industrial applications. “The trailers are specced for heavy loads up to 130 tonnes and can transport large pre-assembled sections used in construct, oil and gas industries, as well as steelworks and other applications where heavy loads are moved in off road situations,” he said. “Depending on the customer’s requirements, we can build the trailer to any configuration.”
Daysworth’s ITTES stand will also promote its range of port and terminal tractors. Three of Daysworth International’s premier tractors will be on display, including the Ottawa 6×4 multi-purpose highway-legal model and the Daysworth TR618i 4×4 RoRo industrial tractor, as well as the Daysworth Ottawa 4×2.
Powered by Cummins’ ISB 300 HP Euro 5 engine, the new Ottawa 6×4 is fully ADR certified for highway use; while the Kalmar TR618i 4×4 RoRo boasts an ‘Intelligent Driver Support’ system and rotating seat for the driver designed to improve efficiency while reversing
“From a productivity point of view, it makes sense to use the right tool for the task, and when it comes to trailer movement, the terminal tractor is designed specifically for this purpose,” Vodanovich added, revealing that Daysworth will also launch its new spare parts division to cater to all terminal tractors and the trucking industry.
