Eurovision Logistics, a UK-based transport company with 130 vehicles that specialises in domestic and European freight transport, has switched to Pirelli after putting the tyre brand to the test.
In September 2011, ATS Euromaster, their tyre service provider, fitted a single prime mover and trailer in the Eurovision Logistics fleet with Pirelli tyres, and tested how proactive servicing could reduce tyre wear, compared with the rest of the fleet.
The new tyre policy now sees a mixture of Pirelli FR01 and FH88 Energy tyres fitted on steer axles, with Pirelli TR01 and TH88 Energy, used on drive axles.
Eurovision Logistics operates more than 130 commercial vehicle assets, including 75 prime movers, 53 trailers and 10 rigid trucks. As well as transporting large consignments to and from the continent, Eurovision Logistics manages contract distribution for the convenience store industry and is also a member of the Fortec Pallet Network offering customers overnight pallet distribution throughout the UK.
