Brisbane based Marmax Transport, a subcontractor of Mainfreight, is the first company in Australia to take delivery of Freighter’s auto-fastening load restraint system for curtain-sided trailers.
“We found ourselves in the market for a new trailer earlier in the year and while we were looking around, we were contacted by the team at Freighter,” said Martin Fry, Joint Director of Marmax Transport. “We always look for quality equipment that will last the distance and we like to stay ahead with new technology, so we decided to give the AutoHold a go.”
Now in serial production, Freighter’s AutoHold system is designed so that the entire curtain can be closed safely at the push of button.
Freighter’s AutoHold model is fitted with LoadHold load restraint curtains, eliminating the need for conventional gates with many load type. The AutoHold has been certified to meet the NTC Load Restraint Guidelines for a utilised load of at least 1,250kg per pallet space.
