Queensland-based Frasers Livestock Transport has won the two major safety awards at this year's Queensland Safe Work Awards.
Frasers Transport finished first in two categories for 'Best Solution to an Identified Work Health and Safety' issue and 'Best Demonstrated Leadership in Work Health and Safety'.
The company was recognised for its work in developing a safety module made up of elevated platforms, walkways and sliding gates that removed the need for truck drivers to work within, climb or stand on top of cattle crates when moving cattle from one trailer to the next.
