German tipper releases

During the BAUMA 2010 trade fair to be held in Munich from April 19-25, Dautel, a leading tipper manufacturer based in Germany, will introduce its new three-way tippers, the DK3.48 and DK3.51; and the HK Classic rear tipper.

BAUMA 2010 is the world leading trade fair for building and construction machines and Dautel sees this as the ideal platform to release its innovative new tipper models.

With a light tare weight, improvements in safety, operation and vehicle optics, the DK3.48 and DK3.51 feature Hardox 450 steel side plates, an improved rear gate that enables the load to easily pass through without getting caught, and further improvements to the tipper floor including the addition of strengthening ribs. Both the floor and steel platform gates are also constructed of Hardox 450. As well, the construction height of the unit was reduced by 30mm which raises its stability when tipping and also makes loading with machinery easier.

Targeted to the export market, the Dautel HK Classic rear tipper has been constructed to cope even with the most trying conditions. It is available in a tri-axle configuration with a volume of 14 or 16 cubic metres, or as a quad-axle configuration with a capacity of 18 cubic metres. Already, an Algerian customer has ordered 23 of the HK Classic units which will be delivered in the coming weeks.

In addition, Dautel has partnered with a number of truck manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz which offers its Sprinter model with an aluminium three-way tipper from Dautel. The tipper manufacturer also partners with Scania and Volvo.
