Coinciding with its new Queensland facility in Carole Park, GLT has expanded its repairs and spare parts services to provide the transport industry with further support.
In a major shift for the company, GLT recently unveiled a new state-of-the-art facility which, at close to 15,000 square metres, has given the business the ability to significantly enhance its in-house operations.
The additional space and resources of the new location has opened the door to a range of new services and capabilities – additions which align seamlessly with GLT’s commitment to excellence and meeting the unique requirements of customers.
At the forefront of these initiatives, GLT is now repairing all trailer brands with a dedicated team and service area in an effort to reduce turnaround times across the industry.
It is also offering a range of genuine GLT spare parts as well as products from several reputable brands, ensuring optimal performance and longevity for trailers.
Following the arrival of the new facility and amplified services, GLT CEO, Shay Chalmers, said GLT’s production capacity has increased considerably.
“This facility has enabled us to triple the size of our repairs capacity and triple the size of the team,” she said.
“To be able to triple our staff and manufacturing capabilities to deliver even better quality and innovation than ever before to our customers is arguably one of the greatest milestones clocked in GLT’s history.”
In addition, GLT has created a dedicated research and development area which Chalmers said will “drive the industry forward”.
“The greatly enhanced research and development component of GLT will be a major coup for the business and ensure the company stays at the forefront of trailer innovation,” she said.
“To be able to propel the industry to new heights is a milestone that transcends our company.”
