Graham Lusty Trailers (GLT) has manufactured its first B-double end tipper set at its recently opened facility in Campbellfield, Victoria.
“Setting up this facility has involved a large effort from our team”, said Managing Director, Graham Lusty. “Delivering the first set of B-doubles from our newest facility in such a short space of time is a proud moment for me and my team.”
According to Lusty, this is an “impressive effort” considering three months ago there was no Campbellfield facility. Since then, GLT has employed a range of local craftsmen, set up a spare parts showroom and also taken on a range of trailer repair work.
“Right from the start, we experienced high volumes of walk-in traffic wanting spare parts and also general repairs to their tippers”, said Scott Arnold, Operations Manager at Campbellfield.
He said the new facility was seen as an asset to GLT owners in the south of Australia, who now have a local home base for all spare parts, repairs and new trailer sales. “New South Wales based customers have the luxury of either using the Brisbane based facility or the new Campbellfield facility.”
Going forward, the entire range of GLT lightweight aluminium units will be manufactured in Campbellfield – including include end tippers, side tippers, bottom dumps, fracking tankers, walking floors, flat top belly tankers and dollies.
