Yassir Shanshal has been named as Heil Trailer International’s new Vice President of Product Development. In his new role, he will work out of the Global Support Center in Cleveland, TN and report to Greg Hewitt, President of Heil Trailer International.
Mr Shanshal has joined Heil after spending 15 years at Case New Holland Ltd., Ford Motor Company and Continental Tires NA, working in numerous positions, including his most recent role as Director of Product Development at Case New Holland Ltd.
At Heil Trailer International, he will have overall management and technical responsibility for new product development, research and development activities, and associated engineering documentation. He will also lead Heil’s global engineering team; and identify, develop and launch new technologies and products.
Mr Shanshal also holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Carbondale, Illinois and a second masters in Product Development from University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan.
