Load handling specialist Hiab Australia has released a new hydraulic front body locking option built into the Multilift XR Power Hooklift range.
“To build on the success of the Multilift XR Power Hooklift range, we have built in a new hydraulic front body locking option, which can be factory fitted or purchased as a retrofit kit to suit all existing XR Series Hooklifts,” says Brett Horvat, Victorian Sales Manager, Hiab Australia. “Once fitted, the load is secured at three locking points, which means greater security and precise control of your load.”
According to Brett, the new option offers the operator a second set of hydraulic body locks, which are mounted towards the front of the hooklift. “The additional hydraulic body locks assist in keeping the loaded container stable during the transport of the load,” he explains.
“When a vehicle has a loader crane fitted, the front body locks will also keep the tray, bin or container fixed during the crane’s operations. In addition, the front hydraulic body locks will open and close automatically if the option ‘automatic sequence controls’ is active for the hooklift.”
Hiab will have the Hiab Hydraulic Front Body Locking system on full display at the 2013 Brisbane Truck Show on 16-19 May at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
