Hydraulic equipment specialist Hyva Pacific is now the Australian distributor for Italian company, Amco Veba Cranes (AV Cranes).
According to André Bremmer, Managing Director of Hyva Pacific, the latest development falls in line with the company’s long-term plans.
“Even though (Hyva) head office owns the company, the rights to the Australian distributorship of Amco Veba were owned by another entity,” Bremmer said. “After weeks of deliberation, we decided to buy everything, the customer list, website, crane stock, spare parts stock and diagnostic tools.
“It’s a very exciting time for the business since it enables us to showcase a bigger portfolio and branch out into different markets. It also means AV’s existing customers can enjoy a whole new level of service and backup support for all the equipment in the Hyva line-up.
“In addition, we’ll have the opportunity to engage new customers and create new relationships. AV Cranes has more than 100 clients across the country and over the next few months we’ll be touching base with each one to ensure they know where the brand is at, that we will have their best interests in mind and that Hyva Pacific will continue to look after them.”
