Since 1976, Turkish company Galipoglu Hidromas has grown to become a leading force in Asia’s contested transport equipment industry. Distributed by Jost under the Jost Hydraulics’ range of telescopic cylinders, the brand has now reached Australia’s shore.
Designed to suit Australia’s earth moving and bulk carrying sector, Jost Hydraulics can offer a cylinder to suit almost every application in the country – from small scale council tippers and metropolitan truck and dog combinations to large scrap metal tippers, earthmoving and mining equipment.
Offered in both well and front mount configurations, Jost Hydraulics’ products are available in three, four and five stages. Currently with strokes ranging from 2650mm to 7200mm, and the range is constantly increasing. Importantly for the Australian market they achieve their full tipping capacity at our industry standard 135 Bar, or 2000 psi.
To cope with Australia’s harsh environment, some of Jost Hydraulics’ features which make it stand out against the competition include all stage hard chroming, an extra large stage overlap, a forged eye with spherical bearings that reduce the side load on the tubes and seals, a heavy duty trunnion with oversize pins as well as a heavy-duty stop ring to withstand the high impact forces typically associated with tippers.
A factory test report provided with every cylinder ensures the customer that it has been fully extended, side loaded and pressure tested prior to fitment to their trailer. This, plus a two-year warranty supported by Jost’s nationwide network of distributors is why more and more customers are specifying the Jost Hydraulics product in their equipment.
