Jost management appointments

JOST Australia, a leading supplier of innovative transport equipment, has welcomed Leigh McConachy as Area Manager for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania; and Dean Ritson as Area Sales Representative. The duo will join the team located in Laverton North, Victoria.

Leigh McConachy first became involved with the Australian transport industry three decades ago. As a qualified diesel mechanic, he has been working on all types of trucks and trailers, getting to know the industry from the bottom up. During his apprenticeship, he received the Diesel Institute Award, proving his reluctance to settle for the runner-up slot.

Working as workshop manager and national fleet manager for major fleets, as well as supervisor and after sales manager for both European and North American truck companies, he has since gained a first-hand understanding of the industry.

Experienced in technical support, product training and warranty issues, Leigh has attached utmost importance to customer service, and was therefore selected as finalist in the ATA’s Technical and Maintenance Excellence Award. “I am looking forward to bringing this extensive experience into the role at Jost Australia,” Leigh announced.

Drawing on 17 years of experience in the automotive industry, qualified motor mechanic Dean Ritson has announced plans to put emphasis on personalised customer service.

Dean began his career as an apprentice at a leading car dealership in Melbourne. Ever since, he has worked his way up through the ranks into a managerial position, running his own business and accumulating a considerable client base.

Throughout his career Dean has obtained extensive service, diagnostic and electrical experience. He specialised in auto electrical, trouble shooting, training and service to a wide range of mechanical equipment. “I look forward to helping Jost continue its story of success,” Dean said.
