Kennedy Trailers boilermaker, Reuben Pinkerton, received a Silver award at the WorldSkills Australia 2025 National Championships and Skills Show.
Pinkerton participated in the event’s Construction Steel Work category, placing second in the country following three days of competition.
Competing against 15 of Australia’s top young tradespeople in his category, Pinkerton was tasked with fabricating an acid tank and frame by following technical drawings in front of 16,000 visitors.
“We’re incredibly proud of Reuben’s dedication, craftsmanship and the way he represented Kennedy Trailers on the national stage,” Kennedy Trailers said.
“Well done, Reuben – the future of the trade is in great hands, we are lucky to have you.”
In other news, Followmont Transport has added 10 new Maxi-CUBE refrigerated trailers to its fleet.
