Geelong-based company, Leopold Transport, has taken delivery of Maxi-CUBE’s recently updated Meat Hanger trailer.
The new and improved 45-foot Meat Hanger trailer features longitudinal air operated meat rails, Meritor CS9 suspension and drum brakes, as well as a steel rear frame, an aluminium floor and full steel chassis.
“The ability to easily raise the meat rails when we aren’t using them, also gives us the ability to carry double stacked general freight on our return leg from Melbourne,” said Glenn Murgatroyd of Leopold Transport, who added that a second trailer was ordered.
“Once again, I was able to request customisations to the design, further emphasising Maxi-CUBE’s willingness to adapt based on customer requirements. I’m confident of a long, maintenance-free life from both of these new trailers.”
