John Pressler is expected to retire as Board Chairman and Non-Executive Director and will not seek re-election to the Board.

His retirement will be effective at the conclusion of the company’s Annual General Meeting to be held 6 November 2002.

“The Board of Lindsay Australia Limited wishes to thank Mr Pressler for his tireless leadership, guidance and generous contribution which has supported the business over a lengthy period,” the Board said in a statement.

“Mr Pressler has served on the Board continuously since his appointment as a Director in 1997.

“The Board noted Mr Pressler’s unique knowledge and experience in the horticulture sector as a key driver to the company’s continued success in this key market.

“The Board wishes Mr Pressler the very best for his future endeavours.”

Current Chair of the Audit Committee, Richard Anderson, is expected to assume the Board Chairman role following Pressler’s retirement.
