Renowned logistics specialist, Linfox, has added Cooltrax’s ‘Fresh InTransit’ technology to the company’s container fleet to ensure real-time visibility 24/7.
“Accountability is important to us, and the Cooltrax system allows us to provide just that,” said Linehaul President, Mark Mazurek.
“Their technology means we can get full visibility of the freight at all times and in the event of an equipment malfunction, we can intervene immediately and recover. We currently have almost 200 containers and B-double refrigerated vans all fitted with the Fresh InTransit system, including some containers used in our rail transport division.”
Fresh InTransit monitors all aspects of the performance of the fridge unit, and provides independent reefer temperature monitoring using wireless technology. The system can also create, view and schedule reports on key performance indicators or provide historical data.
“The beauty of Fresh InTransit is that Cooltrax can integrate it with any of the fridge unit companies on the market,” Mazurek added. “It’s a very flexible system, where the software is constantly upgraded by Cooltrax.”
