Linfox has taken delivery of a purpose-built fleet as part of a contract extension with poultry producer, Tegel Foods.
The order includes six truck and trailer combinations, three quad freezer pan trailers and 17 rigids which will provide temperature-controlled transport services for Tegel Foods across New Zealand.
The new trailers, prime movers and rigid are all equipped with advanced safety technology and modern refrigeration systems to enable precise temperature control, improved energy efficiency and enhanced driver safety.
Linfox President New Zealand and Co Healthcare Group, Misha Shliapnikoff, said the investment strengthens its capability in temperature-controlled transport and ensures it delivers the highest standards of food quality assurance.
