The growth and expansion of Linfox's WA operation has prompted the company to institute a recruitment drive with the aim of attracting more drivers.
The Perth Truck and Trailer Show was held recently and Linfox took the opportunity to attend with a sizeable stand at the show to encourage drivers, and potential drivers, to consider working in their mining based operations in the West.
“The Perth Truck and Trailer Show is a major event for the Western Australia trucking industry and while we had a lot of interest at the event, there are still a range of vacancies available for WA based drivers,” said Andrew Polley, Linfox Western Australia Recruitment Manager.
The company is currently recruiting Australia-wide to increase the workforce from the current level of 19,200 emloyees to meet growing demand for their services around the region. However, it is putting particular emphasis on the Western Australian area, where the skills shortage is the most concerning.
