Based in Riverton, South Australia, Callery Transport specialises in bulk cartage throughout the state. The new Lusty EMS Stag® is the second of its type to be added to the fleet and will be used to transport grain and fertiliser.
The new combination will allow Callery to load up to 75 cubic metres of product on every trip, resulting in higher payloads.
Driver, Chris Callery however, says that the main benefits of the Stag® become even more apparent when he reaches an auger at one of the many silos that the company delivers grain and fertiliser to.
“The ability to unload, simply by jack-knifing the trailers without unhitching or sliding the body means the whole process is a lot quicker, safer and there is hardly any involvement required from the driver,” said Chris. “And the way it has been designed also means that there isn’t excess build up of product around the chassis and components so at the end of the day, it is really easy and quick to clean and maintain.”
