Manitowoc Cranes has appointed crane sales and service company RMB Service Group as a new dealer for South Australia and the Northern Territories.
RMB will represent Manitowoc crawler cranes, Grove mobile cranes and National Crane boom trucks in both territories.
General manager Cheryl Woodhart heads up crane sales at RMB and is currently a board director for the Crane Industry Council of Australia and president of the South Australian Crane Association.
“This is our first new dealer appointment in Australia in 10 years. We have an established sales team and excellent regional dealers that have grown with us over the past decade,” Kelvin Kent, general manager for Manitowoc in Australia, told crane and lift industry website, Vertikal.net.
“Appointing RMB Service Group was an easy decision for us, given the company’s experience in both South Australia and the Northern Territories. In addition, the company has a first-class facility and service team. I’m sure that with the right focus and development, the company can achieve its target of attaining Manitowoc Crane Care Elite dealer status.”
Based in Largs Bay, South Australia, RMB employs a number of ex-Manitowoc staff in its crane inspection and repair business. It also represents Hyva and Ferrari loader cranes, Maeda mini cranes and Haulotte aerial lifts and telehandlers.
