Maxi-Cube, one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of dry freight and temperature-controlled vans; has unveiled the Classic C-Series van, the first model to incorporate a full-length chassis.
According to Maxi-Cube, the C-Series will be the company’s “strongest, most durable refrigerated van yet”. It has been designed to provide for operators and fleets throughout the country, particularly those transporting freight through Western and Northern Australia.”
The Maxi-Cube C-Series has been a timely release as operators look to take advantage of growing opportunities and upgrade their fleets with durable, high specification equipment. A number of these operators provide refrigerated transport services that travel right across the continent, and the full-length chassis is supposed to make the C-Series stand up to the Australia’s trying road conditions.
The C-Series inherits all the class leading thermal efficiency, quality construction and long term durability that the Maxi-Cube Classic product range is renowned for.
According to Maxi-Cube, there is no loss of interior height as a result of the added chassis, ensuring there is maximum payload volume available. The C-Series can also be specified with the provision for road train couplings, ideal in the use of road trains.
With only a slight increase in tare weight, the C-Series retains 99% of payload capacity.
Operators can specify the series in a range of different models to suit their application including reefer, high cube reefer, freezer, chiller and dry freight.
