Hydraulics expert, Mega Pacific, has strengthened its international base with the acquisition of New Zealand company, CC Hydraulics.
According to Mega Pacific, the company has been supporting New Zealand’s transport industry for years, but boosting the brand name itself has now become a necessity that can’t be overlooked anymore. As a result, Mega Pacific wasted little time and pounced on the opportunity by purchasing New Zealand hydraulics specialist, CC Hydraulics (CCH), based in Mount Maunganui.
“The emergence of Mega Pacific as a manufacturer over the last few years also meant that we could take our product offering to New Zealand,” said Mathew Hayter, General Manager for Mega Pacific. “So far, our range of PTO equipment and hydraulics components, plus the TipX range of tipping and safety systems that were launched in New Zealand as yet have received great feedback from CCH’s clientele.
“Our mission is to continue to strive to be number one in every market we operate in,” Mathew adds. “CCH has the same ideals as we do, which is to build a strong reputation of reliability, integrity and innovation, in order to become the first choice for all users of hydraulics equipment, both small and large in New Zealand. With a stronger distribution network and extensive resources to utilise, we couldn’t have imagined a better company to have partnered up with.”
Since 1994, wholly owned CC Hydraulics has been the third largest supplier of hydraulic equipment from its facility in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. CC Hydraulics also has ties to key suppliers in Europe and Asia, which Mega Pacific plans to build upon.
