Melbourne transport company, Metropolitan Express, has opened a new head office in the industrial suburb of Notting Hill (pictured).
According to Metropolitan Express Directors, Sam Pantou and Tony Van Keulen, the expanding diversity in its client base and products was the driving force behind the new administration complex and sales office.
“The new complex houses our national computer centre, sales offices, boardroom and several meeting rooms,” Pantou said. “The new head office is a natural progression in the growth of the business to becoming a national force in the local transport market.”
In addition, the company also announced the opening of a depot in Albury/Wodonga. The facility will house the company’s regional fleet, a sales office and a warehousing capability to service the region.
“This move demonstrates our commitment to existing regional clients and to the future growth of the area as well as establishing Metropolitan Express as the sole provider of niche market transport solutions,” Pantou added.
